I am a child and family psychotherapist who works with children of all ages and with a range of challenges.
I use a collaborative approach to support children and families dealing with perplexing, worrisome, and frustrating behaviors. When the meaning of behaviors is understood, we can then work together to create new, more flexible patterns of relating, communicating, and thinking about oneself and others.
I treat children and adolescents with anxiety and depression. I also treat children and adolescents with ADHD; learning differences; and neurological and developmental presentations, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Other areas of specialty include:
• School Anxiety
• Separation Anxiety
• Difficulty with Peers
• Difficult Behaviors
• Supporting Very Young Children and Their Families
• DIR/ Floor Time Therapy
• Communication Issues
• Sensory Integration and Motor Planning Issues
• Regulatory Challenges
• Developmental Guidance
• Transitional Issues
• Parent Support
• School and Preschool Consultation
